LEOPOLDO I GRAN DUKE OF TUSCANY
Pietro Leopoldo, the Grand Duchy under the new dynasty, although reduced in the Austrian province, could benefit from the reforms of the Habsburg enlightened that with a wise and reformist government led a wave of innovation in Tuscany. Internal customs duties were abolished, torture and the feudal serfdom, a new Civil Code was enacted in 1786, the Code of Leopoldo, the publication of a government budget and the creation of the land, were built new and important means of communication, and the first Tuscan railways and was given a boost to agriculture and the reclamation of the Maremma. Thanks to Pietro Leopoldo, Grand Duke from 1765 to 1790, was responsible for the removal, although temporary, November 30, 1786 and until 1790, the death penalty. Just in memory of this event, was established recently the Party of Tuscany.
THE PROSPECT
In the same historical period Filippo Brunelleschi discovered the method of perspective at a time that fits around the first decade of the fifteenth century. After a first half in which they are brought to light the reasons and causes that give rise to the beginning of the definition of the '400 method, is developed the concept of perspective space launching a process of objectification of the world. |
